I awaken, and go outside to introduce myself to the new day. Good morning trees! Good morning grass! Good morning half eaten bird - how kind of my cats to provide me with such a poignant reminder of the fragility of life! I thank the sun for shining on me, and the air for allowing me to breathe. After my morning meditations, I check my mail. Ever since appearing in the Big Brother house, my spiritual message has reached a wider audience, and every day brings new correspondence reflecting this. The first envelope has an interesting crest on it, and when I open it, I can see that it has come from the United Nations!
"Dear Ms Seddiki, This left me with a warm glow: I now visualise an end to the troubles in Northern Ireland, so that is another problem solved. Maybe Tony Blair will write to me tomorrow. After that excitement, I begin to work on a talk I am preparing for an appearance on Trisha (My Reality TV Nightmare - I'm not sure why they asked me on, but any chance to spread the word...).
"The power is within you to take the road less travelled, moving on a path to the deepest self on the journey from abandonment to healing. I believe that, while men are from Mars and women are from Venus, it is important to learn how to succeed at being yourself in order to find the confidence to fulfill your destiny. We can all become women who run with the wolves: if you celebrate your self, you can heal your life. By practicing the power of now, you can feel the fear and do it anyway. Manifesting with the angels gives us all an insight into the way of the wizard. This collision with the infinite provides us all with chicken soup for the soul."
Song Lyrics by Becki Seddiki, from the song B-Line, copyright BB Seddiki 2004 Apologies to all the authors whose book titles are used in Becki's speech - I'm sure they're truly marvellous and inspiring works.
